The LEAP project is managed by Bray Adult Education Consortium, a local consortium of community, voluntary and statutory organisations led by Bray Partnership.

The project works with Traveller men in Bray and its environs. It identifies training and education needs of Traveller men and responds using innovative development programmes to ensure progression with regard to personal, social and economic development.

A range of education and training courses have taken place over the past five years, group development courses, computer literacy, phono-graphix, makaton signing, communications, personal & interpersonal skills, health related fitness, consumer awareness, living in a diverse society, safe pass certificate, driving theory, carpentry, trailer making, photography, health and socialisation course, big breakfast club and snooker mornings. To date the project has engaged with 107 Traveller men from the general area.
