The Fund for Students With Disabilities

The Fund for Students With Disabilities is available to undergraduate and postgraduate students with disabilities studying in full-time publicly-funded courses at Level 5 or higher on the National Qualifications Framework. VTOS, Teagasc, part-time & private courses are NOT eligible.

The fund is designed to cover educational support requirements of students with disabilities to allow them to compete on a level playing field with their peers - note takers, assistive technology, personal assistants, learning support and more. You register with your college's disability / access service and they will apply on your behalf.

It is not intended to cover disability-related costs such as medication or standard study-related costs such as books or stationery costs.
